Creating a “user-friendly” everyday-family-life

Welcome! I’m 30 years old, not only a passionate tech enthusiast and User Experience (UX) researcher but also a wholehearted mother to a charming little daughter. And it’s from this combination that the name of my page, “Mom UX,” arises. Here, the unique journey of motherhood intersects with the fascinating world of User Experience (UX).

My mission is to build a bridge between these two worlds. It’s not just about topics like diapers, teething, and sleepless nights; it’s about applying UX principles to make parenthood more “user-friendly.” Join me on this exciting journey where we explore innovative technologies, practical solutions, and proven tips that ease the challenges of our modern lives, juggling between children, professional commitments, household responsibilities, partnership, and personal growth.

It’s not (only) about optimization

Of course, optimization plays a role, but by no means does it involve perfecting our children.

For me, the focus is on making my everyday life more user-friendly and simplified. Through inspiration and exchange, I aim to present new perspectives in the sometimes stuck routine of family life.

Simultaneously, I’m working on optimizing my own attitudes. “Busier is not better”; sometimes, acceptance and embracing the principles of Slow Living can be helpful.

Ultimately, it’s about the resulting gratitude, reflection on the truly important things, and hopefully, finding more ease in sometimes challenging times.

Topics that are addressed

I’ll let ChatGPT speak for me at this point, because it hits the nail on the head and shows me that I have picked the right name for my page:

This is not a prioritization of topics. I am looking forward to a journey that combines all of these topics. I myself am curious to see what is going to emerge.
